I’m trying to encourage myself to write more.  It used to be a hobby, but now I need to write in order to make some money…

It’s not going very well.  I’m very out of practice.  Also, I’m not just writing; I’m researching.  Ugh.  Honestly, I would rather do the research.  Not only is it easy, but I’m pretty good at it.  Maybe I’ll go to the library and force myself to get more articles done.  It’s my goal to finish five today… I just completed my first one before jumping over to my blog.

Like I said, it’s not going very well.

Maybe I’ll try a different technique.  Maybe I should get up earlier and start writing.  I used to get up early to do my homework all the time when I was taking online classes.

November is coming up.  For those that don’t know, that’s National Novel Writing Month. I didn’t participate last year, but I did for the two previous years.  I said that I would do it again this year, but I don’t think I’ll make it.  After completing the articles for my writing gig, I don’t know how much more I will write after that.  I definitely don’t believe that I can complete 50,000 words in a month.

I’ll try.  Hopefully, writing for fun will do me some good.

Well, I should get back to my serious writing.
